Once a month from November 2021 to April 2022 Oxfordshire Badger Group are going to challenge its members to check local badger setts and report them via our confidential online reporting system.
Whether it is the badger sett in your garden, one you spot while out walking the footpaths or a sett you visit on private land with the landowner’s permission, we would like to hear about it.
Oxfordshire Badger Group holds a confidential record of badger setts across Oxfordshire dating back to the 1970’s. If each member could send in one record each month, we would be well on our way to updating some of our old records.
To support this challenge, we will be running 6 sett surveying sessions. Come along and learn from experienced sett surveyors, share your knowledge and enjoy meeting friendly, like minded people out of doors.
Each session will be around 2 hours. Dates and times are given below
